A holiday at Les Ilots de Saint-Val campsite is the perfect chance to recharge your batteries and explore the area. There are lots of nearby day trips for you to experience whilst staying at the campsite.
Thoiry Grounds and Château lie 39km from the campsite and visitors can explore the extensive leafy grounds overlooked by a stunning Renaissance château. Travel back in time to the 18th century and live history!
Soak up a tropical world filled with colourful creatures at the Butterfly House 21km from the campsite. You’ll love seeing the countless specimens flying above you. A sight for sore eyes.
Rambouillet Château and its grounds are 23km from the campsite. You can still visit the unusual Queen’s dairy and shell cottage owned by the Princess of Lamballe.
Rambouillet Wildlife Park is 23km away and a stunning natural site where visitors can see countless animals living together. Visitors of all ages will be amazed at how close the animals are and how much there is to do at the park.
Miniature France in Elancourt is 41km from the campsite. This unique open-air site showcases models of France’s great buildings and houses. Get a bird’s eye view of the models in a gondola lift. There’s lots to do here so be sure to visit.
The iconic Versailles Château is 61km from the campsite and a 40 minute train ride away. The site needs no introduction. No trip to Ile de France would be complete without visiting it.
Last but not least, if you want to visit Paris then take a 50 minute train ride (Maintenon/Montparnasse station). The French capital is bursting with culture so make sure you plan your trip!
